MV AGRO, based in Chikkamagaluru, Karnataka,is anIndia Monsooned Malabar Coffee Supplier, which is an Indian speciality coffee and one of the most sought-after Indian coffee beans in the world. These exotic beans go through a one-of-a-kind procedure in which they are exclusively cured on the Malabar coast during the southwest monsoon months of June to September, resulting in an incredible taste profile.

Sun-dried green beans are only stored in India's west coast, on the Malabar coast, where the beans swell, fade, and lose acidity due to purposeful exposure to sea air and monsoon winds. Our Monsooned Malabar AA is an Arabica that has been exposed to the humid air of South India's west coast. It's kept in specialised warehouses.

The monsoon winds swell the coffee beans, causing them to expand and develop a musty flavour. The beans become yellow, lose their acidity, and become syrupy as a result of this procedure. They are agitated now and then to ensure that they are continually exposed to the wetness of the environment.

The coffee beans are carefully placed in sacks, then kept with sufficient room between them to allow the monsoon winds to pass through. After a few weeks, the coffee beans assume a golden yellow colour, indicating that it has been "Monsooned."After that, the coffee beans are hand-sorted to remove any poor beans that didn't "monsoon" as they should have, as they might impact the organoleptic aspects of a good cup of coffee.

Simply because of the monsoon procedure, this is a one-of-a-kind south Indian coffee. Monsooned Malabar coffee beans are picked, processed, and aged during the monsoon season (June through September), which mellows and darkens the green coffee beans. The resulting brew has a dry wine-like flavour and is highly earthy. It has a strong nutty flavour, which leads you to believe it was processed with nuts with the coffee.
